It was brilliant that episode. Great seeing Hilda, Elsie, Minnie and Annie.
Also Emily was credited as just Miss Nugent at this point.

I'm on Sky and you have to press the red button then it tells you to press Select or OK which I did but the bloody commentary was still there! Eventually managed to get it off but you get that irritating message down the bottom about it. 1.25am

I did tape it but I cant be bothered staying up to watch it at 1.25am when the same thing will happen again since I dont know my pin nbr and NTL helpline will be closed at this hour anyway.

They should have had the commentary as an extra for the red button.

This is the BBC who put Dr Who up against Corrie from 1987-89, expecting it to 'Exterminate Corrie' (Daily Mail headline I abbreviated) so logic doesn't come into it.

I've still got the article from the Daily Mail. "Dr Who Under Orders To Exterminate Coronation Street" with a pic of the Doctor and Mel and another of Reet and Alan. I was off DW then so kept it because it was a Corrie piece. LOL! Grade was an idiot and Colin Baker always grumbles about him at conventions. Him and Jonathon Powell.

I said to my dad last night I can imagine what they'd say - racist crap and should never see the light of day again! I think there should be one black and one white person voicing their opinions on it.

LOL! And Michael Grade's! Course, if he'd given them more money during the 80s.... I groaned when I heard he was back at the Beeb. Hopefully he will keep his nose out of TV progs regardless of whether he likes them or not.
