Don't think so. Looks like it will be 79 again. I had a dream the other night Maureen O'Brien had replaced her because she was willing to work. LOL!

Maureen's a very good actress. Much better actress than writer that's for sure! I still haven't got past chapter 3 of her new book and Paul gave up at the end of chapter 3! She's also a really down to earth woman. Doesn't mind replying to fan mail (I haven't written but others have) and mixing with the common folks.

I think she would. She's an excellent actress. She's also aged better and shows her legs off. No tents and surgically attached trousers for her. She's very stylish. LOL!

I hated Anthony sodding Stephens. John Quayle is doing the same performance as Bunny Newbury and Billy Watson. He has no range like KF. Now if they brought him back as Norris's love interest....  Patsy |

Hated Gilroy and Reet too. In her right mind she'd have walloped him. He took advantage.

I wasnt keen on either Alec or Anthony. I remember my dad saying at the time there was something not quite right about Anthony, he seemed *too* nice. Alec wasnt her type but as a character he was OK.
I hated Bet too - thats another we agree on

Alec was a good character. Just that Reet never trusted the little weasel so wouldn't have jumped into bed with him. She even warned Alan about him when he wanted to be Jenny's agent.
I liked Bet until she became landlady. Then Goodyear's acting seemed to get ridiculous.
But back to the subject. I wish they'd release a tribute DVD of Seth's best moments.

I didnt mind Bet when she was a barmaid in the 70s/early 80s episodes but she was never one of my fave's. Goodyear is a terrible actress as well.
