I loved it. Real laugh out loud stuff even though the wedding so fast was a bit stupid. This is where Corrie's gone wrong. Emmerdale's humour isn't forced and trying to make situations funny that aren't. There's also the wit in the writing with the characters saying and doing things they normally would instead of being out of place. Nicola had some wonderful lins tonight and I laughed so much when she fell in the mud.

Emmerdale do weddings so well. It was a great episode, some very funny moments in it.
Loved the way the Bishop comments 'Well you know the rest' when they were doing the vows. ;D

Very funny - though I thought the Robin Hood theme just took it a little too far (bit Corrie-like).
At last the lovely couple are married - if only they can evict Ashley's dad from the bed (and definitely wash the bedding first)...

I agree, Mandy. I was reminded of Norris playing Devil Woman at Claire and Ashley's.

Yes and we could all pull strings. Funny Laurel fitted perfectly into Betty's dress. It's a bit like engagement rings being the right size.

Yes Patsy Ive always wondered how they knew the rings would fit.wedding done in a day,It took me a month to find a suitble outfit for a family Christening.

Just once I would love a proposal to go wrong when the ring won't go on or falls off.
I was pretty much like that when I went to a Spanish wedding 4 years ago. I had absolutely no idea what you wear to these things but at least there were no hats. In the end I could have worn something I already had instead of buying a new outfit. LOL!

Somehow they have photo's of that Wedding in their `Post-fire` album! But How? No one was taking photo's as far as i can recall!

your right I can`t remember anyone takeing photo`s of Asley and Laurel`s wedding , but maybe the writer`s had written in a camera shy phographer for the day ;p lol. or could the photographer have been invisible?  . I do like the photo`s of the wedding in their post fire album although it is a mystery how they got them. |
