Wasn't that good? Apart from the terrible miming that is. Nice to see Sammy Winward and Lucy Pargeter there. And didn't Alice look attractive? I nearly didn't recognise her. I thought Corrie's Oliver was good last year (Grease was pretty naff). But this was better. Len on the boat in the river playing the accordion with that mini orchestra on the bank, then him walking through the water was hilarious.

I agree Patsy, it was terrific, and a lot of care had gone into it. It was nice to almost all the cast take part ( It must have been very cold as well )
Did the Corrie lot do anything. ( I didn't watch it all )

No they didn't this year. I wish I'd taped that now but I had my DW tape in. LOL!

It took me a long time to recognise Alice. She looked really pretty and so different. Younger too with all that slap on.

It was brilliant. A lot of work would have had to go into it as well. Was it shown twice or just the once (near midnight?).
I agree about Alice. What a stunning girl when she's not Alice!

I don't know. I switched it off after Dr Who. I hope they did. They did with Corrie last year and the year before.

They didn't repeat it all. I was most disappointed. After seeing it I thought it was so good I taped Children In Need from 11pm-when it finished and went to bed. When I got up the next morning and checked the tape they :
Did NOT show again the Dingles "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" Did NOT show again Pearl and Len on the lake
They DID show "What A Swell Party This Is" again between Midnight and 12:30am.
They also showed some extra interviews with Debbie, Adam, Jo and someone else I forget. Theay also showed Amy Nuttall singing.
It seems such a shame that out of those 3 tracks only one wa reshown. The others never to be seen again.
Not sure if there is anywhere to download them online? I've got the Swell party and may be one day I'll get round to capturing it but it won't be anytime soon.
