I am not a fan of Steffs,Remember how she treated her dad and Shelley,I dont think she should have got off scot free killing Shelley.

I quite agree, although I suppose this is all going towards explaining why she's as awful as she is? I had heard rumours that she would eventually be charged with murdering Shelley (the second time), but the rumour-mill has gone eerily quiet.

Terence is very, very scary isn't he? I'm glad Emmerdale are doing such a shocking storyline, even if it did cause a bit of "changing the past" syndrome. If it even helps one person then it has served a purpose.
The storyline apparently gets really good in a few weeks. If it was a character like Diane or Lisa, haunted by an evil brother, then the storyline would have probably got a lot more attention than it has as Steph is a character few people empathise with because of her past storylines.

I didn`t like Stephanie at first because of what she did to Shelley, but I really do pity her now as Terrance (evil, slimey man:() is putting her through hell. though why Alan isn`t listening to her is beyond me, and how he`s a parent to both of them is a mystery to me:o. at least Betty is on her side and I`m pleased she persweded Stephanie to stay and face Terrance out. if that was me I`d be running out of the village double quick Valda

This sounds like it's something I'll really be gripped watching when I get home. The acting and writing must be really, really good if it's getting people feeling sorry for Steph.

In tonights episode there was a really good scene in the pub between Steph and Alan as well, when he told her he was planning to give her half the B&B. She told him that she didn't want it, and gave a really good speech about what Terence's abuse had done to her.

It's all very well Steph going on about what happened to her as a child, and that she is the victim in all this, but she seems to be in permanent denial about the appalling things she did to her father, and the fact that she murdered her best friend. Hardly a picture of innocence, is she?
Personally I think she needs a loooooong course of therapy.

Its funny that OCD disorder it looked like she had, seems to have disappeared.
I would have thought with all she has been going through lately, it would have re-emerged ( and more severe )

I've got up to the 5th and really did enjoy that where he locked her in the B&B and tormented her in the cellar. Excellent acting all round there. I really felt so sorry for Steph. I can't wait to see the rest of this storyline. He is definitely slimy. I agree with you there, tash. He certainly alienated Alan and Betty quick enough. Are they friends again now?

No. He's obviously still feeling awkward after the way he behaved towards her.
