I have to say after watching tonight's episode and Shadrach saying to Donna "we're family now!" that must be one of the most cringeworthy lines I have ever heard. It really is genuinely scary. I think, that would make me think just what have I let myself in for? ;D Shadders as an in-law?  |

I thought though with Shadrach's recent stunts, she did right reporting him to the Police, after all Donna is family, what about honour among thieves? Why is it ok for Shadrach to take from her, but she is not allowed to defend herself?

once upon a time i would have agreed with you Hildaogden,but not now Shadrach might be a skruffy fella,drunken at time`s and he is funny with it but he has a heart of gold as he has proved with Alice lately, so I`d spare him the Axe and wouldn`t kill him off but i would axe a few of the dingle clan as there are too many of them.

Most of the time I hate Shadders as he seems to have little to recommend him
Then they show golden moments such as the time he stole booze from Viv's shop, crashed a police car and tonight when he spoke so sensibly and sensitively to Alice it was truly touching.
So Shadrach has to stay - even if at times I would like him permanently in Hamish's stall...
