according to ITV teletext last night Lorraine chase said she is quiting emmerdale & her character steph will be killed off

Poor Alan...Grand daughter killed and now both his children are going to end up dead too !!..thank God for Bettys cooking to cheer him up

that`s too OTT, ok Lorraine Chase want`s to leave but why kill off Steph?:,( why not write her out as leaveing the village to live elsewhere or going on a long cruise or something to try to forget all the trouble she`s leaveing/left behind her includeing killer hubby? that way at least Alan could have one of his family he could mention now and again or phone.

I hope they don`t kill off Steph I did at first not like her but she did grow on me. and just because you do not like Lorraine Chase does not mean other people feel the same way ok, she isn`t that irritating I can think of a few people who are but I wouldn`t kill off the character`s just because I don`t like the person who play`s them. I agree that Lorraine was miscast as Alan`s daughter but that wasn`t her fault .

I think Lorriane was ideal in the role too...her and Sheree Murphy were very similar..
instead of killing her off..why don't they get all this silly stuff with the doc concluded...and let her meet someone who is genuine and good for her and have her going off for a happy ending.....
or alternativly it would be a good time to tie up the loose ends with Shelleys dissapearance

I agree I`d love all this killer doc stuff to conclude and fast, but not kill steph off but give steph a happy ending. I`d love to see Shelley reappear so she and Alan could have a happy ending too . as both Steph and Alan deserve happiness. |

Steph is not overdue to go from Emmerdale I think later would be better time to go for Steph, did i miss something as I thought Shelley had dissapeered to somewhere by herself and had not been killed by Steph though she did put the blame on her that way but Alan (not tubby, it`s extemely rude of you to call him that because he is overweight which btw is no crime) forgave her not sure if she was attrempting to kill him or whether she had flipped at that time anyway. but I think Steph`s killer Docter husband is well overdue to leave Emmerdale and the sooner the better.

Patsy locked up would be a better idea than killing her off ,hildaogden I disagree with you about killing her off!. and why do you think Steph should have never been brought into emmerdale in the first place? I thought it was a good thing to see Alan`s Family instead of him hardly mentioning them now and again, like he had no family at all!. |

Steph had a hard childhood as she was abused by her brother Terrace that is why her character was depressing to watch for awhile, she isn`t that depressing now. and like I said before even if you think the person is irritating it does not mean everyone else does, as a person she does not bother me in the slightest and never has done. your welcome and yes I did recive your email about the Emmerdale pettion but the link does not appear to work on it.

i love steph, shes a fab character this stuff with shelley wud be good to be cleared up but i also thiink it would be better to give her a decent send off rather than killing steph off
