Tom, Sadie and Cain the kidnap

Is it me or is this 'going on a bit'? It is a good storyline, though I think it is being 'stretched a bit'. I think it could have been done in a couple of episodes, though the whole story has been good and acting.

The only thing I disagree with is the fact that they are killing off Tom and Sadie and it has been suggested that Cain lives. Kill Sadie, ok, but why can't they just send Tom off to retire to Spain with 'Helen'? Kill Cain as well.

It's only been going on a few days.

No one's said Tom dies except that wazzock on Teletext. It's entirely possible he doesn't. Maybe people are assuming because he's leaving. But then so was Danny and they assumed he was one of the dead in the house explosion. Yet the ones who did die (apart from the estate agent) no one knew was leaving. We'll have to wait and see. Will be over at the end of the week.

I agree about that rat, Valda. That was horrible.

it wasn`t me Patsy it was Norma who mentioned the rat but your right it was horrible, (but typical of Cain to do that ) . has it really only being going a few day`s? it does seem to be a lot longer than that. yes your right we will just have to wait and see who die`s I suppose, btw has Ashley the vicar got an extention on Emmerdale graveyard? he`s going to need one on it soon with all the death`s lately lol

One thing I hate about hostage situations in programmes is the perfectly clean hair, no eyebrows needing plucking, moustaches needing shaving etc and that's just the women! Sadie and Tom would be reeking with a lot of wet patches and stains in their clothes (if you know what I mean).

Well at least it ends tomorrow but it clashes with EE again. Grrr!

I'm going to tape EE. I can't see the omnibus on Sunday because I'll be out and won't have time to catch up before Monday's. I really hate it when they do this now I'm an EE watcher.

totally agree its great story but its been goin on for a while,

im likin the whole thing i think its fantastic and the actin is fab!!!

i also think viewers can see that sadie and matt still have feelings for eachother by the way there actin, for example last night when carl said he didnt want toms death on his conscience then matt said or sadies and stuff like that also sadie wantin to talk to matt and little body language things too, is it just me or can anyone else see it too,

I couldn't care less its being on for weeks and weeks, now that the action is here, Im effing loving it. Tom King for me has really done well in this, Ken is a very good actor, and his stiff upper lip to Cain, fabulous.

Well it's all over now but I think soaps have got to stop being obsessed with car chases and water. Lots of twists and turns though. Said Tom wouldn't die. Thought Sadie was. Bit of a naff ending.

I loved it, but, I actually thought Sadie was toast, but when Cain swapped cars again I knew then... nah.

I enjoyed it very much. And I am pleased that Tom didn't die.

There were more twists and turns than a corkscrew.
Emmerdale do these things so well, and are very good at actually keeping cliffhangers secret till the day.

Couldn't get over Cain in a suit. Or dressed as a copper.( Or the fact he legged it with 2½ million pounds in a holdall ) ;D

I'll miss Cain. I saw him on 'This Morning' yesterday with short hair, very nice.
According to Sharon Marshall, there is a rumour that Corrie producers want him on Corrie.

thats was a cracking episode i loved it!!!!!

i admit i cried when sadie 'died' im glad she aint been killed off, although i thought it wudda been better if the ending was a little more cain and sadie leaving together because now we get unanswered Q'S like where does sadie go without no money and stuff like that.

when the car went over and they were being slow at getting divers in i was screaming at telly i was LOL

overall best episode in a long time i was hooked on egde of my seat for the whole hour

it was a great ending , no one died ,even though I was secretly hopeing Sadie would more stuff like this Emmedale now and again please yes your right Patsy he is too well known as Cain now I wonder what he will do ? for a start christmas is on the way and I think he`ll make a fantastic Pantomime Baddie but after that what then?

All the things I have read about this episode ( In papers etc ) want to know one thing.........where did Sadie get that wonderful white suit, that went through everything without getting that dirty.!!

I reckon Jeff Hordley would make a terrific Heathcliffe. ;D

i think emmerdale done this storyline really well, if i hadn't already known it wasnt real i probably would of thought it was, i also like the jokes about it in todays episode, for instance Perdy saying "we could always kidnap one of the kings" when she finds out they need money to put a deposit on Rodney's old place.

Yes, I thought it was really good, though I really was awaiting for Tom to die, hoping though he woud not. First I thought he had died in the car over the cliff then I thought Sadie had snuffed it when Cain 'killed her', but that was a good bluff to force Tom's hand, though I really thought he was going to go.

I thought it different that Cain was the one that got away, in the helicopter (Surprise Surprise!) when he is not the sort to do that, and Sadie was left with naff all! I did like the first disguise with the glasses, I laughed at that, and the copper uniform! And then with the suit at the end, and the nicely combed hair - a different side to Cain!

Alot of twists and turns which was nice, though I still hope they allow Tom to go to Spain out of the way. (See my other thread)
