Agreed to all of the above sooty.
I hate how Rachel is turning into a real nagging harpy.
And to set up Belle making her think Archie got hold of her pills was despicable. I used to feel sorry for Rachel when Charity set her up. Now I can`t wait til Emma comes back off maternity leave so she can show Rachel some real Dingle justice.

LOL I noticed last night sooty.
He`s a fine young man...I`ve always liked Jacob (and the name too). He always seems to have a good sense of right or wrong - unlike bratty Noah who he sometimes hangs out with.

I really enjoyed last nights episode (There's a first for a while) Debbie's mouthful of truth to psycho Emma was spot on. I have to say I am really enjoying the Laurel and Marlon free episodes...but we don't see enough of Cain.  |

Fin Barton is morphing into Liam from Benidorm with his baby voice these days. He`s becoming very unpleasant lately.
I really used to like him when he first arrived. But ever since he stole Declans identity to go to a casino to meet that casino worker - I`ve gone right off him.

I hope Chrissie sticks to her guns and doesn't let Rancid Robert worm his way back in, it would help if she told Lawrence the whole story then he wouldn't be so sympathetic to Rancid. Oh dear, Vanessa is in a right mess. I would have thought a woman with her intelligence would be a bit more careful (especially when dealing with the 'immature') Debbie v Emma, bring it on |

Agreed wholeheartedly sooty.
I don`t think Marlon and Laural's marriage can survive this. Neither Doug, Bob or Marlon will be able to trust Laurel being around the kids anymore....especially now that the child protection agency has been informed.
It may be only a matter of time before Marlon finds out about April being in hospital because of Laurel. And I doubt if he`ll ever forgive her for that.
How cruel of Ali blaming Dan for Sean`s accident. Banging on about not being able to say no to Sean going in the army. She didn`t exactly say no to Dan when she slept with him did she. What a hypocrite.

I was absolutely heartbroken what Laurel did last night. I will never think of her the same way again. Laurel never used to be this devious and uncaring. Even if Laurel gets clean and never touches another drop of alcohol, Marlon will never trust her again. It wouldn`t surprise me if Ashley sues her for full custody. I was also in tears at what Cain was telling Marlon last night on the bridge where Shadrack died. I had no idea Shadrack was such a bully. Poor Cain - what an awful childhood he had. I`m wondering if Laurel is one of the characters being killed off this summer. What does he have to look forward to? Her best friend in Dubai, severing any friendship she had with Rhona at the nasty way she treated her - not to mention putting Leo in danger. Her Dad is furious with her, her husband not wanting a bar of her anymore, no job, estranged from Arthur, and Ashley in a new relationship of his own. Laurel is her own worst enemy, and I don`t feel any sympathy for her. |

Best and most gripping episode I have seen for a long time.
It went from the drama that is Laurel to the fun that was Betty's goodbye party.
Trouble was, all the time Ashley was talking in the car to Laurel (when she finally admitted she was an alcoholic) I was itching to take a pair of garden shears to his hair !!

sooty.....I truly hope Laurel doesn`t try and get back with Ashley. I love Ashley and Harriet together....they make a lovely couple.
After everything Laurel has put Ashley though the past few years, she doesn`t deserve him.

Bored with the will they, won't they go SL with David and Alysia.
Bored with the Bob and shonky Carly stuff.
Bored with the Ross bare knuckle fighting stuff.
Bored with the Vanessa who's the 'Daddy' stuff.
Most of it is making my eyes glaze over at the moment.
In fact the only thing that has my interest at the moment is the Laurel SL, and I'm glad Ruby is back.

I agree with everything you said Sootycat. Is Rachael's heavy eye makeup meant to make her more menacing? Her acting seems to be worse since she came back as I didn't mind her before.

I've done that with Corrie Blanche, Emmerdale is the only soap left that I watch. From 4 soaps a week down to just 1. Spend the free time watching Netflix |

Not had good luck with planes and wives has he. I enjoyed 'disaster' week for the most part. Sad about Ruby and Val. Don't think for one minute Ross is dead!! Why would Emmerdale kill off one of their strongest characters (Val was going anyway) |

So that's one big reveal, You do my murder and I'll do yours. Epic fail by Ross. If only he had been a decent shot!!
Next big reveal was Paddy. I hope he suffers for his cheap little bunk up in the back of the car. Totally out of character and ridiculous. I hope this women turns out to be a bunny boiler and stalker and makes his life hell.
Third reveal Ashley. This came as a total shock to me. All his forgetfulness I had put down to his accident. I am sad at this as it means his departure from the show. I am quite sure he will do the SL proud.
So the villagers are none the wiser to the Robert shooting, and Aaron remains chief suspect.
I'd still like to know who is terrorising Chas though. it seems too easy to be psycho Emma

Emmerdale has just put out some great episodes.
The melt down of Chas through PTSD and the knock on effect has been terrific to watch. Away from the usual soap rubbish, Lucy Pargeter has played a blinder.
