Last night's episode with Chas and Aaron was difficult to watch but the two actors played an absolute blinder. An award is well due....but we know Emmerdale don't get awards!! (at least not often)

I have to say Emmerdale did Edna (and Shirley) proud with that episode. Well written and well acted. Jimmy and Pearl's little eulogies were wonderful and emotional (it must have been so hard for all the actors to film the scenes) Well done to all concerned. It was a wonderful send off for Edna - it was a funeral that you actually felt you were at yourself it was so moving and emotionally charged - I felt the loss just as deeply as if I knew her personally. R.I.P. Shirley and Edna.  |
