I agree with a few on Bruno's list, but I do think Anne Kirkbride is great. Liz Dawn is good too but was better in the old days, same as Deirdre was a better character back then but thats the writing.
I agree about Warren, Candice and Dev though

Blimey bruno..you didn't half vent your spleen...there aren't really any ACTORS i don't like (A few CHARACTERS I'm not keen on..but you can't like everyone....The only one i would critisize is bruce Jones..He's good at Comedy, but lets himself down when he tries to be serious or sad LOL. Yea, well thats how people get the wrong impression about me, coz I always say what I think me mouth always works before me brain does! LOL. As one of my best friends says 'You dont sugarcoat things'.

And, Anne Kilbride does me head in with her glasses, fags and that neck when she gets worked up or upset! LOL.

Found the tape with that episode on, yes it was the first scene when they were at breakfast, then 2 scenes in between and another scene with Reet and Bet having Coffee. I can kind of see what you mean about her acting in that scene. Great episode though, I liked the scenes with Alf and Audrey too when it all went wrong with them moving house and the Duckworths going for dinner at the same hotel. Shame Jenny was only in 1 scene. Also watched another episode on the same tape with Alan, Jenny and Rita - this was from 1986 and Jenny didnt want anything to do with her dad. Yes she was drinking Sherry not Voddy though by the sound of it LOL! Yes. It was sherry that time because Emily (wasn't it) is too tight to buy Reet her vodka. Too much being wistful and looking into the distance just like remembering the past, as I said rather than meant to be actually living in it as her mind told her she was. Not convincing. If she hadn't done that it would have worked better. Patsy

It was the McDonald's who arrived in that episode, but those specials were great for showing other storylines too apart from the main theme. Sally's first episode was on it too.

Why does everyone hate Kate Ford so much? I think she's quite convincing, given the script lines she has.. you always know what she's thinking given her facial expression anyway! Although she's generally thinking the same thing.
Just wanted to say that I think acting on Corrie has suffered for the loss of Karen and Maya. Both of them were extremely convincing in the crazy female roles they played, and often encouraged everyone around them to act convincingly too! There was a real Chemistry between Karen and Simon Gregson.. I am sure it is not just Steve who feels the loss. Also the woman who plays Angela is an amazing actress. It is laughable to see her and Katy acting together, tho I dunno how I'd have done any better as Katy!

Maybe people hate Kate Ford so much, BabyAmy, because she's so bad. It's difficult at the best of times trying to work out whether she's meant to be sarcastic, witty or just plain nasty because she says it all in basically the same tone of voice. Then there's grinning when she's meant to be angry or upset. When Karen smashed her show inches from Tracy's head, there was no reaction at all except grinning. If that happened to you, wouldn't you look startled? After all, there's this mad woman there who nearly put her shoe through your head. Too many of her co-stars carry her through the scenes. She can copy Suranne's mannerisms all she likes but she'll never be good. You either have talent or you don't and she doesn't otherwise she wouldn't need to copy those who do. But I know people like her just as much as those who wish she'd hurry up and bugger off don't. That makes for fun disagreements. ;D
I miss Karen. Suranne was excellent and it's a shame she went down the wanting more money route. I suppose she should be glad Karen wasn't killed off after doing that since Maxine and even Ernie Bishop were. I loved Steve and Karen but got VERY bored with Tracy in the equation because they kept going around in circles. Now we have Tracy obsessed with Steve and that's doing the same. Maya was good in a Richard panto villain way. Went to the same eye rolling school! LOL! I think anyone could do better than Katy. Well, excpet Kate Ford. Katy needs to keep off the drugs. LOL!

LOL! I thought, since it fell apart so easily, it was MFI! Patsy LOL. I felt so sorry for Craig though... What was going on there? Where did Martin appear from and what was he doing there? Also, does Craig actually believe that Angela killed Tommy?

No idea to either of them. Martin obviously is a warlock and popped up in a puff of smoke. Craig's probably upset because his make-up ran with all that crying.
