Andy, Andy, Andy...why can`t you see what a sly conniving heartless bitch Jo is? Are your nether regions cutting off the flow of blood to your brain Wake up fer gawds sake before Jo becomes a fully fledged bunny boiler and put baby Sarah, or Jack, or Daz in danger. Jo needs a good dose of what Chas gave to Chloe a few years ago.....a good ducking in the trough and then run out of town. arrrgh she drives me crazy aye Thanks for letting me vent.

I don't think she does really. She just wanted to prove she could. Now she's got him she seems less interested.

Ta for pinning it Pats. It goes to show what a terrific actress Roxanne(sp) is for me to show such hatred for Jo. Her constant sneering, her contempt for her one time friend Katy, and the sucking up to Andy and to Jack too. KF should start taking notes from Roxanne on how to play a bitch for her next job. (unless its at Micky D`s) ;D

Still haven't made up my mind about Jo's motives in all this.
Yes, she could just have stolen Andy from Katy simply to prove she could, but I also get the impression from time to time that she is, in fact, very vulnerable and insecure, especially when you consider what a complete cow her mother was.
I agree tho' that full marks should go to Roxanne for being able to portray all these mixed emotions so convincingly.

I dont think she's a terrific actress but I think she's growing as an actress and Roxy seems to be doing more to be be convincing

KF couldn't take lessons from anyone. She had 3 years of it and is still crap.
Insecurity could be a factor. But then she clearly has a selish streak. Last night you could tell she's not that keen on even having Sarah around.

Andy won`t be pleased to know that Jo doesn`t like his daughter. Although it wouldn`t surprise me if Jo deliberatly got pregnant in the hopes of trapping Andy when Andy gets fed up of her. And I`m sure he`ll get fed up eventually.

He will. Now she has him and Katie's out the way, she'll soon get bored and go after someone else.

I am sick of Grayson Sinclair. The man will put his mummy first one too many times before his wife finally tells him to shove their marriage up his fat arse.

Those weren`t apron strings Pats - it was the pull cord that makes him walk and talk. Easy mistake to make though as they have the same function with Rosemary always yanking his chain ;D

Another 'off my chest' moment... Marlon and Donna. There isn`t any chemistry whatsoever between the pair of them. In fact on screen in scenes togther, I don`t see any affection either. And I can`t recall any other actress who seems as bland as Donna. Why would Marlon fancy someone as boring as DOnna when his previous wife was so bubbly and sweet.? No one cringes more than I do when Marlon overacts in his scenes.

Quite agree CG - they're both pretty awful in their own ways. Donna is very irritating, and Marlon is becoming a clone of Patrick Moore with all his gesticulating....as well as irritating. I don't have the slightest interest in their storylines. Coiuldn't they emigrate?

If I had the choice of living in a caravan or leaving Emmerdale, you wouldn`t see me for dust. I don`t know how much Donna is earning as a rookie copper, but surely she could afford a few nights at the B&B....even though Marlon isn`t earning at the moment. Tch...principles don`t put food on the table Marlon you prat.

Viv is making me madder and madder the way she uses her twins as fashion accessories rather than beautiful precious babies that she doesn`t even want to hold in her arms. Bob seems to be doing it all. She`s more concerned of what to dress her twins in at the double christening rather than the real meaning of a baptism Grrrr

It will be even more frustrating next week, CG when one of the younger characters is left unable to have children.

*sigh* I would`ve liked to have seen Emmerdale win more awards at the Soap awards. I felt really sorry for them only coming away with only one award. It seems unfair that all the hard work that was put into the 'who killed Tom King' storyline gained them extra viewers with nowt to show for it. Maybe they shot themselves in the foot when they dragged the storyline far too long where viewers didn`t care anymore. To be honest I`ve watched more Emmerdale this year than I have of Corrie. As much as I love my Corrie (and will be loyal til the end of my days), there is just something about Emmerdale that really appeals to me. Maybe its the the class divide thing...them versus us kind of thing. Or maybe because I live out in the country and can identify with the characters....we`ve got a family like the Dingles down the road. And further down the road are the snooty neighbours like Rosemary. Then there are the hardworking Sugdens who resemble our neighbour the Suttons opposite (who incidently bought 8 goats last February).

'Fraid I have to disagree CG - much as I used to love Emm in the 'good old days', I think it's become one of the weakest soaps we have, and it's only my loyalty to it (from the old days) and a (probably misguided) hope that it will suddenly improve, that keeps me watching.
This last year in particular has been absolutely dire - rubbish storylines, endless 'padding', and far too much reliance on the worst, supposedly 'comical' characters.
TBH, I think the show needs a complete re-think.
