Ugh, I was right about her all along. Linda doesn't put any effort into her 'performance' and she has no chemistry with any other actor on the show.

I totally agree Yasmin, she has no chemistry with any actor on the show!! I thought the scenes with Carl (Tom) would test her to give a good performance, but she didn't show any signs of improvement, and now we have to endure her until christmas!!! And because she is a big name the producers would more than likely renew her contract!!

I tend to agree with both of you, she is really monotone speaking and hasn,t any emotion at all . I,ve changed my mind about Carrie I thought she would be a lot better than she is.

Scarlett is ok she,s overexcited because she,s found her brothers , and possibly it,s her first job so will be over acting a bit even so she is a lot better than Belle  |

I agree - Linda Lusardi is far worse than I expected, tho' strangely enough, her acting is better when the character is meant to be in a good mood; she interacted pretty well with Rosemary when they had their cosy chat weeks ago.
It's when she's meant to be 'prickly' that she is particularly bad.
I like Scarlett tho' - she seems very natural to me. I agree that she seems a bit OTT at the moment but that could very well be because she's suddenly gained a whole new family. Also liked her scenes with Daz. No, I think she has potential, and can definitely stay.

What little I see of Emmerdale these days, there's quite a few I don't like. And Carrie is pretty dire. I'm also waiting to see if Scarlett will turn out to be Carl's daughter changing all the dynamics, the wills etc and ultimately send them packing. I don't mind Scarlett though.

At the moment I think Scarlett is lovely, I think she is acting that way, as she has suddenly found her family, she never knew she had.
I know one magazine commented on her eyes, that she has 'mad' eyes, as they are so huge! I think the actress may be 'new' to the acting world, and there is nothing about her anywhere, no interviews, and even when I emailed Emmerdale offices, they could not give me any info on Kelsey-Beth who plays her or her agents - which I found strange.
It will be interesting if she is found to be Carls' child and not Tom's.

From the comments made by Chas and Katie last night, it seems Carl's one night stand was 2 years before Carrie had Scarlett.

Yes, Katie was thinking the same as we all are and was Scarlett Carl's child, but Chas had already done the Maths, and she wasn't, so maybe she is Tom's then?
