Emmerdale star Hayley Tamaddon has landed a role in the forthcoming West End production of Grease.
The actress has been told that she will play Rizzo, leader of the Pink Ladies, after impressing theatre producers with her performances on ITV1's Soapstar Superstar in January.
A friend told The Mirror: "Hayley is made up. This is just the kind of role she wanted."
Tamaddon is leaving Emmerdale this month after playing Delilah Dingle for two years.
Good for her, I reckon she will be great.
