Overall not a bad episode - especially liked the last few minutes when Katherine Jenkins was singing, and the news of Len's death was travelling amongst the crowd. Well done, not tacky, and very effective.
Also the scenes between Len and Edna earlier.
...and enjoyed the hospital scenes with Louise and Dirty Hari.
I'm afraid all the stuff with the King Brothers after their release I found hilarious - I've rarely seen such abysmal acting from three characters together in a soap for ages - particularly from 'Matthew' (no idea what actor's name is) - he was truly, truly terrible.
...as was Glynis Barber - was she this bad when she was in Dempsey and Makepeace all those years ago?
Question is tho' - why do we have to go through weeks and weeks of padded-out drivel, and then have one hour-long episode which isn't really long enough to carry all the heavy-weight and important content they're trying to show us? Makes no sense at all.

Too be honest, I think it has been 'driven' out too long, I mean how many residents has there been to interigate in such a small village? Wht wasn't Grayson ever Interviewed till the other day? I think it is really unfair the way they have treat the Kings, I think they should give them a break. I just hope they keep quiet even if it is too keep that smug look off Grayson and Rosemary's face I also don't think there were any specific clues to Carl, I mean on This Morning, it showed all the clues, but I thought they were more the looks and actions of a grieving son. I suppose if any of the brothers had to do it, then it would have been Carl. But now lets see the brothers unite.

I think it was drawn out too long, though its not over yet, Hari, Grayson and Rosemary are in it up to their necks. Hari starts singing, and he will, he won't go down alone.
As for Carl and Jimmy, I can see them gradually pushing Matt out of the picture. Question is, will Matt drop Carl in it or not?

Rosemary, Grayson and Hari should ALL go to prison, and Carl should own up to what he has done.

I`m glad the writers didn`t take the easy way out and have Len as the murderer who then dies peacefully. Carl was always my fave of the Kings. Does that mean he is leaving? Surely he won`t be another character who gets away with murder.

I think it was said that the killer would not be leaving the show, so quite possibly yet again, Carl will get away with doing someone in. I wonder if the Emmerdale team are going to turn him into Richard Hilman!?

I don't think Carl will turn into Richard Hillman, what Carl did was out of love for Chas, and years of anger with his dad for controlling his life, and he just snapped!! As i have studied the law, Carl could raise the defence of dimished responsibility and reduce murder to manslaughter!!
I think Carl should own up to what he has done but he needs to tell Chas, she will be his saving grace, but if Carl continues to crack up and sink into depression then i don't think that even Chas will be able to help him!!

LOL Valda!
I agree, gudboi. Chas should understand. She was on the receiving end long enough.

Chas was on the receiving end, but suppose Chas decides that she was only on the receiving end because of him in the first place? Which would be true enough -
After all, its not a case of them bickering as to who was driving the car when they got a speeding ticket. lol you're talking about fingers being pointed in a murder investigation.
