It has been announced in the Sun that Linda Lusardi is leaving the Soap in 2008 .
It is said that it is nothing to do with money, she wishes to concentrate on other projects.
She has said on Teletext that she physically misses her kids while filming in Leeds, though I would have thought she would have taken this into consideration before taking the job on. I don't think Carrie/Linda will be missed though.
If these rumours are true, I wonder what will happen to Scarlett?

That lExi is atrocious! I mean, honestly. Everything about her is wrong! I don't really watch Emmerdale but its sometimes on in the background, and I am wondering to myself what is wrong with her. Is that accent a joke? She's like a ventriloquist's dummy, her mouth never mves and her expression never changes! I sometimes wonder how people like her get these parts, there must be loads of creatures going for the roles and they just pick the worst one! The mind boggles. Mine that is, not Lexi's

Lots of people feel the same way, Maddie. They get these planks of wood to try and get people watching because they're 'good looking', leaving true talent ignored. It's worse when they give characters a new head because they weren't 'cute' or 'hot' enough.

I`m really glad she`s leaving. After Kelly left I thought Carrie would`ve tried to get her mitts into Jimmy.
I hope Scarlett stays, but I can`t see Carrie allowing her to stay.
