Angry Emmerdale fans have accused new boss Anita Turner of ruining the soap by killing off their favourite characters.
Since she took over, Anita has axed a string of actors, including Christopher Villiers (aka Grayson Sinclair) Richard Grieve (Jonny Foster) and Georgia Slowe (Perdy Sinclair).

Unofficial fans’ website The Emmerdale Forum has now pulled the plug “in protest”. An email sent to the site’s members said: “Due to the show’s continuing decline in quality, the admin decided to close what was a very busy forum in protest of the new producer, Anita Turner, coming in and failing to put right what was wrong.”

Never heard of them. Characters come and go all the time. How can they accuse Anita Turner of doing something when she's only just begun? Kath Beedles ruined the show and Anita needs to work hard (as Steve Frost did) to get it back up to standard.

Surely the fans ought to know that a new producer of any soap uses a new broom to sweep out stale characters.
And in any soap there are always people who are disappointed when a certain character is axed or leaves on their own acord.
Who said those characters are getting killed off anyway? Is that just a figure of speech?

I do think Perdy is one of the better character though so she should stay.
