From Digital SpyLinda Thorson has her eye on a role in Coronation Street. The 60-year-old is keen to move to another soap after completing a stint as scheming millionairess Rosemary King in Emmerdale. She told Teletext: "I'd love to appear in Coronation Street. It's my ambition. I've already worked out my storyline. "I'd play an American who has a heart attack and gets cared for by Rita or Emily." The Canadian actress is best known for playing Tara King in the final series of The Avengers in the late '60s. I didn't realise she was Canadian. !

Honor Blackman who really enjoyed working with Malcolm, saying he made her laugh. Nice woman and still looks fabulous.
Being an Avengers fan I did know that about Linda.

LOL! Well if she played a rich character and was likely to snuff it then it could be a new way for our Reet to get left money!

I know I remember reading it.
I was actually thinking though that this rich lady could be so grateful to Reet for looking after her she might leave all her cash anyway without any hanky panky going on.

LOL! Katy is actually based slightly on a real person but isn't gay or has a heart condition although the person who told me about her wants her dead. LOL!
Not a chance. No one has so far. She HAS to marry them to get anything. Even her friends leave her out the will.

LOL! Bu as I said, not even her friends do. It's the only way she's guaranteed the cash as their next of kin. Patsy

What friends though have died that could have left her cash- they are all still alive - Mave, Emily, Betty, Norris! Fred and Mike were hardly likely to leave her cash as they had family e.g. Bev, Ashley, Danny, Adam etc.

She's had many down the years. Even those with family can still leave a little something to friends if they cared about them that much, even if it's a token and not cash.

For all you know Mike could have left her a small token if they were as close as you think.

LOL! But they used the wrong will. He'd have left her tokens and cash in the pre-dozy writers days. Patsy
