Last night a witness to the incident at Haydock Park, near St Helens, Merseyside, said: "Steve looked like he was having a good time.
"One guy gave him a real mouthful. Steve said he few things back and it looked like it might get nasty but he was moved away by his friends."
Just four weeks ago we revealed the party-loving actor was given a ticking-off by Coronation Street bosses for vanishing and wrecking film schedules.
