From DSJack P. Shepherd has revealed that he wants his Coronation Street character to return to his villainous ways. The actor said he hopes David Platt, who has turned over a new leaf since leaving prison, will be back to his old tricks before too long. He said: "I definitely want David to be evil again. I love playing that side of him. The badder he is, the better it is for me! New scripts are ready at the moment but I don't know what's in them. I really hope he goes back to his old tricks." However, he revealed that David is determined to make a fresh start since his release from jail, saying: "He is a lot calmer than before as well. He wants to continue in hairdressing and make a stab at carving out a career for himself." Shepherd won the prize for best villain for the role at this year's British Soap Awards. Been there, done that, got the T shirt. !

Yeah what Maddy said. I much prefered David when he was a jack the lad type. I laughed out loud when he messed with the wheels on Norris Coles shopping trolley. I think it was when Norris was doing the censes, and as he dragged his trolley the wheels broke off. I laugh now thinking about it. That was the David I preferred - not the evil David. It`s getting stale now.
