From DSCoronation Street star Vicky Binns has admitted that she is grateful to play an "un-trendy" character on the show. The actress, better known as Tyrone Dobbs' love interest Molly Compton in the soap, revealed that she would hate to spend hours in the make-up room like her female co-stars. "No matter what, Molly will never wear more than a small heel, and you'll never get that rucksack off her either," Vicky explained. "Even when she's wearing a dress, which she did when Tyrone proposed to her last week, I still didn't want her to look too glam. It's much more fun to be un-trendy. "And the amount of hours the other Corrie girls spend in make-up - I'd be exhausted. I've not got the patience." Away from the cameras, Vicky is enjoying the benefits of slimming down from 10st to 7st 7lb last year. She later shared her secrets in a workout DVD, entitled Dance It Off. "I'm much more confident," she confirmed. "Before it was like, 'What can I cover up with?' Now I think, 'What colours would be cool?'" I think Molly is great as she is.

Good for her. I can imagine one or two who are stuck in make up. I'll never understand my sex. There are many naturally beautiful women out there yet they insist on piling on the slap. It's bad for the skin because it can't breath then they get upset over wrinkles so buy all that muck which doesn't work. Why can't more women look normal instead of tarty? Patsy
