Kym Marsh has claimed that she will never get bored of working on Coronation Street.

The actress, who plays barmaid Michelle Connor on the ITV1 soap, hinted that she plans to stick with the Street for years to come.

"I'm very lucky. No two days are the same on Corrie and you're always kept on your toes," Marsh told Now magazine. "There's no way I would get fed up. I'm supposed to be acting and I'm really enjoying that."

Marsh added that she enjoys taking her two children Emily, 10, and David, 13, to work with her so they can get to know her co-stars.

"They've been to the set a few times," she said. "Emily loves coming with me. She just likes sitting in the greenroom with everybody - chatting and eating Nutella on toast!"

This'll make everyone happy. !! ;D

See what I mean though (from the rant forum). She cannot resist being in the limelight.
I am hoping that the producers are having second thoughts about her, and KM got wind of it, soshe`s doing some major sucking up.
What else is there for a single mother back street barmaid? Not much...Corrie barmaids have come and gone over the years who are miles better than Miss Hell.

I know I`m paranoid, but I somehow get the feeling that KM made that little statement about her staying to the various message boards that have slated her. Kind of like "in your face I`m staying bwa-ha-ha-ha, get used to it" kind of thing.
Maybe she does read various message boards after all...on nights when she isn`t at some party or other.

No one can say that though. The newer ones in their obsession for ratings over decent drama either 1) never stay or 2) are axed because they've exhausted or underused them. I'll be surprised if she's here in five years time or even two.

Lets hope she jump starts her music career again. But she knows which side of her bread is buttered - that`s why she prefers the security of Corrie. I can`t say I blame her for that.

I like her but not the storylines they gave her.I wish they had just left Steve and her happy together

I wish she had left full stop. Then Steve and Leanne could become a couple...I can just imagine Leanne as Queen of the Rovers somehow. And Leanne doesn`t have baggage like Miss Hell.
