I have thought of a new game...'Corrie Connections' you have to guess the links between 2 characters
EG if the two characters were: Alan Bradley & Ena Sharples
then the answer would be...Alan Bradley was played by Mark Eden who is married to Sue Nicholls who plays Audrey,who also starred in the 'Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin' with Leonard Rossiter,who also starred in 'Rising Damp' with Richard Beckinsale who played a policeman in Corrie who arrested Ena Sharples
does it sound OK?..I'll start you off with one and see if you can work it out......

Blimey this is complicated!
After extensive internet research I've come up with a different set of connections:
Leonard Swindley played by Arthur Lowe, who also played Capt Mainwairing in Dad's Army. His second in command was Sergeant Wilson, played by John Le Mesurier, who was married to Hattie Jacques, who starred alongside Amanda Barrie in Carry on Cabbie, who subsequently played Alma Halliwell in Corrie.
I have carefully avoided any references to the Mister Men or Eric Sykes, so as not to further complicate matters.

All i can think of is... Nick Tilsley is the son of Brian Tilsley...Tim Healy also played a character called Brian in Corrie..Tim is married to Denise Welch who starred in Corrie as Natalie Barnes  |

Not to my knowledge.
Here's the answer:
Nick Tilsley = played by Adam Rickett, who fancied his chances as a Conservative MP. So did another actor, James Gaddas, who stood as a Tory party candidate, he played Vinnie Sorrell, the character who impregnated Natalie Barnes.
Was that a bit too convoluted?

Wow you`re all so good at this, and I`m so rubbish  Hmm lets see. Lloyd was in Red Dwarf, which had (the brilliant) Tim Healy in it who is married to Denise Welch who played Natalie Barnes? I`ve never seen Red Dwarf so I can only guess |

The answer is:
Lloyd is played by Craig Charles who played Lister in Red Dwarf. His co-star was Chris Barrie as Rimmer, who also played a French revolutionary in the Scarlet Pimpernel episode of Blackadder. The young lady 'Bob' in Blackadder, who so desperately wanted to be a boy, was played by Gabrielle Glaister, who also played Debs Brownlow in Corrie, a character who had even looser knicker elastic than her sister Natalie Barnes.

Thanks, Nick. I'm no Corrie expert, just a regular fan but I have a lot of time on my hands at the moment, being off work with a broken wrist.
Therefore a few (very slow and with one hand) visits to websites like corrie.net, wikipedia and IMDB can throw up a lot of information.
Would you like to do the next one?
