Love them or loathe them, you can’t choose your family and you would be hard pushed to find more feuding families than among the residents of Coronation Street.
Over three weeks, Coronation Street Family Albums takes a look at some of TV's best-loved families through the years, celebrating some of our favourites. Cast members past and present take a trip down memory lane to re-live the highs and lows of each family’s most memorable moments.
Each programme will focus on a different Corrie clan – kicking off with the McDonalds, then the Platts and ending with the Barlows.
This week, the McDonalds.
When the McDonald family burst onto our screens in 1989, it soon became clear that life on Coronation Street would never be the same again.
Over the last 15 years the McDonalds have brought us no less than 37 punch-ups, 10 affairs and 122 domestic incidents! We take a look at some of their most memorable moments, including a look at the Street's favourite couple, Karen and Steve McDonald.
