Thought I'd post it here since it's for Americans. From Yahoo news:
Little Britain angers gay rights groups By WENN world entertainment news - 1 hour 16 minutes ago
Comedy series Little Britain USA has sparked outrage in America - with a gay rights group calling the programme "offensive" and "obnoxious".
The sketch show, which stars David Walliams and Matt Lucas, is a spin-off based on the original series and reportedly features male full-frontal nudity as well as a series of lesbian and gay gags.
And the controversial content has angered officials at the West Hollywood Gay and Lesbian Alliance.
A spokesman for the organisation says, "This is the most politically incorrect, offensive and obnoxious material ever seen in this country."
A representative for US TV network HBO, the channel that plans to screen the show from 28 September, claims officials will be taking note of any complaints about the material but insists that the series is about overcoming prejudices and leads the way in "edgy programming".

They need to get a life. Most Americans who have watched LB on the BBC America channel are massive fans of the show. You always get the few miserable gits wherever you live in the world.

And surely they'd take into account the fact Matt Lucas is gay himself.

Can you watch BBC iPlayer over there, or is there some sort of restriction for overseas?

I see the reviews are mixed. Some call it juvenile.

The programme is offensive and obnoxious.
I have a feeling that is why a lot of people over here like it. ;D

Wasn't that impressed with the first 'USA' one - thought it all looked a bit tired.

Well I thought it was a load of tired, clapped out old rubbish...it wasn't even funny.
I liked the very first series which was original and funny...but from series 2 when the original jokes had been used up they reverted to offensive, peurile humour (namely the one where that chap has to suckle on his mother, the old lady pi***ng in the supermarket and the 2 WI women vomiting)..it isn't clever and it certainly isn't funny..and there are only so many times you can say 'i'm a lady' or 'I'm the only gay in the village'

That's one reason I can't stand a lot of old sitcoms. The catchphrases are overused to boredom and they do it still today in things like this. How can people still laugh at them when they're said for the zillionth time? Americans are different to us. For a nation with strict moral codes they aren't half two faced with the nudity, sex, language and violence on the big screen. This will have a cult following over there but is doomed to failure because they just don't get irony or piss taking. The way they laugh at themselves is a lot different to us as well.

I agree Nick and Pats. Series 2 wasn`t as good as the first one. I`m one of the very few who found David Walliams portrayal of a continent old lady hysterically funny. And there`s me with a bladder the size of a gnat. I almost peed myself laughing. His portrayal of man asking for 'bitty' was in very poor taste though.
I haven`t seen the USA series yet, and going by the critics in here and media I don`t think I`ll bother. If there is one thing I hate in a comedy it`s canned laughter. I don`t like being told when to laugh. ;D

Canned laughter is usually after every line as well.
