Great news for fans of Peter Barlow, who is due to return to Weatherfield next week along with his little boy, Simon. The ITV website says that he is going to be in the show for a year "to start with," so things look good for a nice long stint from him this time.
Chris Gascoyne, who plays him, says, "it will be interesting to see what direction Peter takes. I've been lucky again that the writers have given me such a good storyline. It's very human, which I love. It's a big emotional journey about a dad trying to love his little boy. You'll love him and hate him watching it."
Thats great news. Peter has always been a good character.
