From DSKen Morley has confessed that he would like to reprise his role as Reg Holdsworth on Coronation Street. The actor, who portrayed the supermarket manager from 1989 until 1995, told The Press Association that he would return to the Street "if there's room for a 65-year-old good-looking fella". Recalling his experiences on the ITV soap, he said: "I had a great time there. I was only there for five years. It seemed a lot longer but I was there for five years." Morley, who was in attendance at the launch of the Coronation Street: Out Of Africa DVD, added that he would like to make his comeback in the 50th anniversary episode in two years' time. "I wouldn't mind," he said. "I could come back as a 50-year-old, if they could roll the cameras back of course, that would be great." I can't see how they could fit him in now. They would need Curly to return as the double act.Things have changed a lot in Corrie since Reg's departure.

Isn't it amazing how many would go back to any soap when work dries up?
