From DSDesperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry has revealed that the hit ABC show may get a four season pick-up. "I started recently talks with [ABC Entertainment president] Steve McPherson and [ABC Studios president] Mark Pedowitz about continuing the show for a ninth season," Cherry said at a party to celebrate Housewives' 100th episode. "We're going to find a way to make it work." Network ABC confirmed that talks are underway to extend the show until 2012, although a deal has yet to be reached. Speaking about the current season, Cherry added: "The five-year jump seems to have reinvigorated interest in the show, and the ratings are terrific." Great, I love this programme
