I saw this is yesterday's Daily Express
Actor Roy Hudd ( Who played undertaker Archie Shuttleworth )said:

" There was talk of killing off my character, but they won't do that. They are keeping it open for me."
Going five days a week has seen quite a few characters depart from Corrie. I would love to see Archie back.
