They really are running out of ideas. Already used a 7th Doctor Virgin novel in the 3rd series, now a 6th Doctor Big Finish audio called The One Doctor gets the TV treatment which wasn't even written by RTD and also undergoes many changes. It wasn't bad but a little hammy. Better than the previous three efforts anyway.

We loved it from start to finish - a really enjoyable, 'stand-alone' episode. David Morrissey and Dervla Kerwin excellent (as you'd expect), and David Tennant even managed to turn down his 'manic-mode' to an acceptable level (always a good thing).
Minor quibble? The Cyberking was a bit too Transformer-ish for me - would have looked better as a more primitive mechanical monster, to fit in with the Victorian surroundings.
That aside - great.

Not forgetting all-too-brief glimpses of Hartnell, Troughton, Pertwee, Baker, Davison, Baker, McCoy, McGann and Eccleston although I'm sure many new viewers would've been wondering who the hell they were before Eccleston. LOL!
