The rabbit portraying Simon Barlow's (Alexander Bain) pet on Coronation Street has been given its own personal assistant.
The animal, named Leanne in the soap by Simon after his father Peter's (Chris Gascoyne) current girlfriend, is required to have an assistant at the Granada Studios set because of animal welfare laws.
"The rabbit was a hit with everyone," a source told The Sun.
"We've never known any other cast member cause such a stir on their first day's filming. Everyone wanted a cuddle."
Lets hope it doesn't meet the same fate as the last Rabbit that was a pet. ;D
