The row was getting to the end. The silences were getting longer as each of them tried to find new put-down lines.
Eventually he said "When you're dead, I'll look down into your coffin and say 'There she lies, cold as ever.'".
The response wasn't long in coming "When you're dead, I'll look out of the pub window to watch the hearse taking your body to the graveyard, and I'll say to the barman 'There he goes, stiff at last!'".
