A helicopter had just rescued ten people from the sea and they were all holding onto a rope suspended from the machine - nine men and one woman.
The pilot then said: "I'm afraid one of you will have to drop off because the total weight is too much for us to remain airborne."
There was no response until finally the lady spoke up: Well men have always treated me fairly," she said," so I'll drop off."
With that all the men clapped. Problem solved!
