‘Dark place’ for Bradley

EASTENDERS star Charlie Clements wants his character Bradley Branning to “go to a dark place”.

The 21-year-old actor explained: “I’d quite like to see him floating around on his own. We’ve never really seen Bradley not in a relationship.

“As soon as he arrived, he was thrown into the relationship with Stacey and now that’s broken up, he’s straight back into another one with Syd.

“We’ve never really seen him go ‘out there’. I’d quite like to see him go to a dark place to be honest and maybe go a bit off the rails.”

Hasn't he suffered enough? Isn't being part of the Branning clan, and married to Stacey dark enough places? I suppose Bradley is quite a boring character to play from the point of view of an actor - but I don't think they should risk ruining the character in order to give him a bit of action.
