From DS Emmerdale stars Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden are expecting a baby together, it has been announced. Webb, who plays Debbie Dingle on the ITV1 show, is expected to give birth to her first child in the spring. The 21-year-old actress and her partner Wolfenden, better known as David Metcalfe on the programme, are said to be "delighted" by their happy news. According to PA, no decision has been made over whether the star's pregnancy will be written into her soap storylines. Webb and Wolfenden were first linked in the media last year. They are believed to have met on the set of Emmerdale after Wolfenden joined the drama in 2006

Blimey! Shows how out of touch I am - didn't even know they were a couple. Good luck to them both anyway.

Congrats Charley and Matt It would be excellent if the pregnanncy was written in. That`s all I`m going to say in the subject because this isn`t a spoiler thread. If it is gonna be written in then the writers must be licking their cops at the thought. I know I would.

Congratulations to them - Emmerdale is starting to turn into Corrie with all these actresses having babies - first Charlotte and now Charley - I wonder who will be next.

Is it ever. She has got big quickly this pregnancy, and no amount of large coats etc can conceal that fact. ;D I don't know why they didn't write this pregnancy in, then we would have been spared 'stepford wife Sally'
