Didn't know wether to put this here or rant zone.
I have bt and have a yahoo toolbar which has given me no trouble at all until a few days ago.
A lot of the buttons are now different, the ones I use all the time...Bookmarks, printer, mail etc have gone and replaced by movies, games and sport and music ( none of which I ever access )
Doesn't matter what I do, I can't fix it.....any bright ideas would be gratefully received

They've recently upgraded. On Firefox I have my old one. But IE is the new. Did you get an option to upgrade the toolbar? I haven't. Have you tried the settings option by the big purple logo (where you sign in)? Probably a stupid question I know. But there's an edit/add and you should be able to remove things via that. On IE there's an option too to add buttons from a Yahoo ID.

I had a similar problem a couple of years ago, when I inadvertently selected 'update' to a 'new' homepage. Could find no way out of it (and I'm reasonably PC literate). In the end had to contact BT and an engineer there had to restore my settings via remote access to my computer! ...and it wasn't a two minute job either.

Crikey! That means they can access your computer any time they want.

The strange thing is I haven't up-dated it, and it still works as before, it's just a nuisance not having those buttons on the bar.
The rest of the toolbar remains the same....apart from these 4 buttons.

Very weird. Do you know which version it is? Mine on Firefox is 1.6.6.20090220 apparently. IE is 7.2.5.15.

I was upgraded to the 8 toolbar when I upgraded the messenger to version 10. REALLY hate version 8. It's soooooooooooooooo slow to respond to anything.

I notice that the Yahoo browser becomes obsolete on Sptember 1st. It's advising anyone who has it to uninstall it and pick another.
