Anyone else had problems seeing videos on Youtube?
For last few weeks, have been getting this message:- 'Hello, either you have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player. '
I've done all the obvious stuff - checking internet/firewall settings, downloading latest Flash Player etc etc, and still no go.
Done a bit of research on the 'net, and it seems this is a very, very common occurrence, and is nothing to do with Javascript or Flash Player - it's just a generic error message.
Seems it's something to do with Youtube getting too greedy and trying to place ads, which cock things up.
Anyhoo - I digress. Just wondered if any of you had experienced the same thing, and if so, whether you'd managed to sort it?
The weird thing is (as others have found) that you can watch Youtube videos fine if it's thru' a third party site - Google videos, or Lolcats, for example.

Got it sorted a while back - was one of the 'blocker' settings in Norton.

I don't have that but glad it's fixed, Paul. Sometimes things slow on mine if the fan's having an overload then works normally when it's normal speed.
