I'm thinking now it's Bradders. Pygmy and he are leaving in a few months so it's got to be one of them.

I`m thinking along those lines too Pats. All I know is that its a character who is leaving/already leftr so my first thought was Sam - Peggy is just too obvious.

They said Sham was coming back but I doubt it's her. She's meant to have the door left over for a return in the future. Babs said quit then 2 years off so it won't be Pygmy (unless she was on a ladder and he'd have heard her dragging it).

Bradley had the biggest motive and he's leaving, so i'm gonna go with him, i don't think Peggy has it in her.
People on the eastenders site are saying that Jack is also leaving though...
We're joking in my house that it was little Oscar, because no one actually saw him in the car when Tanya pulled away.

Hmm now that's an interesting little twist. Bent copper doing it. He's had a charmed life so you never know. LOL! Oscar always vanishes so he could have done many deeds. Patsy

Bradley could have a million reasons to leave Walford but he won't neceassarily be going in the back of a panda car.
My first thought is that it's Jack. Jack might well have done it - most of his rows/personal problems with various Mitchells were conducted quite privately, so most residents would be unaware of how much he hated Archvillain. Therefore the cops might not consider him a suspect. In fact as an ex cop himself he would know exactly how to plant suspicion/clues in the right direction to fit up someone else, Baldy for example.

I dunno - I`m starting to think it could be Ryan. He seemed to be very keen to put the blame on Janine didn`t he. The motive could be that he has fallen for the trollop and was furious that Janine was getting married to Archie. I know he isn`t leaving, but maybe as soon as the live episode is revealed in February it will be then that its announced Ryan is leaving.

At least it won't be dragged out eternally like Tom King. Who gave a toss? Patsy

Absolutely.
We've had, down the years, variously: Who knocked up Michelle Fowler? Who raped Sheila Grant? Who shot Phil? Who raped Toyah Battersby? Who killed Pauline Fowler? Who knocked up Heff? Now ... who brained Archvillain with a bar ornament?
Please just wrap it up quickly - this is Eastenders, NOT Columbo.

There's one suspect who seems to be missing from the poll: Ben Mitchell. He had a motive - the trouble caused between his dad and his half brother over the loan, and the fact that he got kicked out of the Vic and forced to live with Baldy and Surly, in a small flat where he can overhear their disgusting drunken shagging

Even though I haven't really been following it I have voted for Rosy cheeked Bradders as he is leaving

Also in the spoilers there's something about Max though that may not point to it being Bradders.

It was his uncle Jack. Ok?

I got a little pissed off with the TV mags because it not only reveals about Windy's baby but also has one of the suspects in a picture! But then even the BBC themselves have two of the suspects mentioned for next week. What's the bloody point of all that suspense if these stupid things give stuff away??? END SPOILERS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jack is looking too obvious, as is Bradders. But Becca's going to cause some serious trouble so it was a bit rich for Windy to chastise Bradders for telling people when she blabbed to the loon.
I think it's stupid too having two killers in the Square.
Tiff asking for a fiver was funny as was Ricky in his maid's outfit. Also loved Darren, Billy and Minty's drunken chip chat. LOL!
Shouldn't Gangrene's hands have been behind her back for arresting?
Carol's a cow. Sonia her favourite?
Don't listen to Baldy, Surl! When a bloke says those immortal words, "Play it by ear" or "Take it as it comes" you know it ain't gonna happen!

MAD IMPULSIVE LAST MINUTE CHANGE OF VOTE!!!!
BILLY MITCHELL!!
This is a total curveball - like Darren and Heff.
I've decided that the previously dismissed Billy might have dunnit: he had been promised Archvillain's house, and he saw how Archvillain and Gangrene and Squeal were behaving, so he decided to smack his uncle one to ensure a swift delivery of his promised inheritance. Of course he was unaware that Archvillain's will had recently been changed in favour of Poxy.
Nobody would suspect him because he's so gutless, and nobody will miss him when he's in the nick.
