I've seen a few eps of this US medical comedy drama and I really like it. Usually hospital stuff bores me to tears - but this one is growing on me.
Also the woman who plays Jackie's friend, the English doctor (forget the name) is a dead ringer for Brooke Vincent (Sophie Webster). Honestly, it could be her mother.

I watched the last 20 minutes of the last episode....and wished I had watched it from the first episode. It was quite good.

I have been renting the DVDs from Netflix, and watching them on my computer. It`s very good. I`ve been enjoying the series so far....love that English doc. I`m glad she don`t work for the NHS LOL

Dr O`Hara is a brilliant character, one of my faves on the show. I also like Mohammed (Mo-Mo) I`m still watching season 1...and last night saw the episode where Eddie got drunk when he found out Jackie was married with 2 kids. Oo-er

Is it just me or does anyone else think that Dr O'Hara really looks like Sophie Webster from Corrie?

I'm still trying to work out who's who. Is the actress who plays the Dr British ?, and was the bloke who turned up in Casualty Jackie's boyfriend?

Dr O'Hara is a British doctor working there. She's also Jackie's best friend, and is in on all her shenanigans ie double life and drug-taking. The man brought in with the overdose was Eddie, Jackie's ex lover who used also to be the pharmacist at the hospital, and who supplied Jackie with painkillers for her bad back. He didn't know that she was married or had kids, but found this out at the end of the previous series. The annoying young doctor Coop also fancies Jackie, but she doesn't like him. I think he is aware that she has at least one kid, but generally it's only Dr O'Hara who knows about Jackie's private life, and is a friend to the family. I believe she also was at some stage having an affair with someone.

Jackie, O'Hara and Eddie are becoming ever so slightly less likeable with each episode. It was very nasty of Jackie to put the boot into young Sam because he'd sussed her drug habit. She's also too harsh on Coop, who is a bit arrogant, but basically his heart's in the right place.
I like Zoey more and more each time, she's a great comic character, and I liked her scenes with 'God'.
