What a difference a soap makes. I disliked Emily in Emmerdale as Louise, but I really do like her character Marilyn in Home and Away. I didn`t know Marilyn the first time she was in H&A, but I am enjoying her scenes now. I can see why Miles is irritated with her though. Which makes me wonder if there`ll be a romance between them  |

Marilyn was a character you liked ( and got irritated with ) in equal doses. Daft as a brush with a heart of gold. According to a H&A website...health reasons have brought her back to the bay.  |

She had breast cancer years ago. I thought she had been successfully treated....maybe it's a recurrence.
