We seem to be getting all the Doctors enemies in one swoop.
Somebody in the paper referred to them as 'Dulux Daleks' I thought that was quite funny.

I had planned to watch this in Rotterdam but unfortunately the big lummox Norwegian Epic decided to leave 30 mins late at 7.30pm for the first jolly. Grrr! Have had it taped though and will catch up before Saturday's finale.

Hmm. Well I really enjoyed last week's. I said Rory would be back. It's sadly very predictable in that way since RTD. Little pointless having Daleks, Sontarans et all since they weren't used much but LOVED the twist of the Romans being Autons, especially Rory when he shot Amy. Little Star Trekky when the Cybermen said assimilated. Naughty! I really got into that and like Matt Smith a lot. He was an excellent choice. No 'Next Time' bit - yay!!!!
Second ep was reasonable. Bit of an anti-climax really because you knew it would end happily as usual. I hope there's no more story arcs. Really fed up with them.
Maybe now there's Big Bang 2 we can have the return of Gallifrey. So who is River Song? Will we find out at Xmas?
9.5/10 for this series.

Thought it made an excellent series finale - we watched the last two episodes back to back.
Seemed a bit a bit as tho' they'd thrown everything at it INCLUDING the kitchen sink, but enjoyable nevertheless.
9/10 for the series as a whole.
10/10 for Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Alex Kingston.

Loved the whole series. ( My favourite episodes were the Vincent one and the weeping Angels )

Wasn't really sure what was going on.......lol...my only grumble is that in the old days the Doc was only known on Earth by a select few..the Brigadier etc and he kept an air of mystery.....now thanks to RTD and his obession with the earth being destroyed by daleks every 5 minutes everyone seems to know him..he turns up in his TARDIS at weddings etc ...

Agreed there, Nick. Also they changed outfit to blend in rather than stand out. Hope the next series doesn't clash with some crap like BGT.
