So have the current writers run out of storylines that they have to rely on schoolkids for ideas now? Pitiful

Why does it have to be for schoolkids..what about us 40 somethings who would have a mad axeman run through the street killing all the pointless characters?

With some of these storylines lately, I bet some of these school kids could do better!

LOL, Patsy! I reckon that's what EE have been doing for the last six months, letting school kids write the scripts, judging by the recent influx of street talking obnoxious young idiots.
Fair play to them giving an opportunity to young writers and all, and I hope they do well in their efforts, but a show as hugely popular as Corrie needs proper professional writers and crew. They can't afford to allow the standard to be compromised in order to fulfill a competition prize from Imperial Leather.
