Awww I think he`s brilliant - especially during the 'Aaron coming out' storyline. Those were my choices. I bet he won`t win, but I wanted to vote for him anyway.

Certainly agree about that - he's been simply outstanding.
Best current actor in Emm by a country mile, and certainly better than most in Corrie. No idea what other soap actors are like now, as Emm and Corrie are the only 2 I watch.

Lacey Turner best actress, EE best soap - no suprises there. With Lacey leaving soon, it will be good for some other actress to shine for a change. Although I can`t think of anyone worthy apart from Hazel in Emmerdale.
I would have loved for it to have been Emmerdale for best soap

It was the same with Corrie though. Same people nominated year in, year out. Shallow kid viewers voting not for acting ability but cos they'z hot innit.

Yeah Pats...spot on. EE is hip, so of course the 'yoofs' will vote for their fave. In the viewers choice, Corrie doesn`t have a chance. But when the panel votes, it depends who is on the panel - so it could go either way.

Really please to see Glee win Best New Drama. ...but also some really bizarre results (as always). Loose Women? (a shadow of it's former self - now full of trite, self-opinionated rubbish, hosted by a load of has-beens, who seem more intent on knocking spots off each other and self-publicising) Total Wipeout? Boring, repetitive cr@p - same old, same old every bloody week - an easy way for schedulers to fill in some time on a Saturday evening. Denise Welch - Best Actress? Purleeez!

But Wend, I said it was the same with Corrie. Look at how many times KF was up for something when she was crap. It's who they fancy and desperation by the bosses to make sure they win. If they put over 40s in the category every year things would be different.
