I agree. We get someone being murdered practically daily. People die in crashes or of diseases. Why should soaps change things when rewriting or filming, not showing won't change anything.

I agree Pats. Its good that they did this though - it shows their human side. And then there is the fact that soaps DO reflect real life....because EE is more grittier than the other soaps.

How many streets have so many murders? No soap reflects real life but at least EE mentions the world's events. Corrie's lived in its own bubble for years.
