I went to see the Corrie stage Show in Salford on Saturday and it was brilliant - so funny. Some of the scenes they included were;
Ena and Florrie in the shop (scene from episode one) Dennis arguing with Elsie Ena, Minnie and Martha in the snug Hilda and the Muriel Hilda, Bet and Annie in the Rovers Rita, Alan and the tram Rita and Bet arguing in the show because she wont invest in the Rovers. Richard Hillman killing Maxine All 4 of Gail's husbands - including Brian's death, Richard's death, Joe's death and the nanny from hell storyline. Ken/Deirdre/Mike love triangle Mike's death Deirdre being locked up after the Jon Lindsay storyline (I DIDNT DO ANY OF IT!!) Ken and Martha Peter/Shelly and Lucy Mavis and Reet in the shop
and Many more!
I would recommend this show to everyone!

There's a problem getting in and Proboards have infuriatingly removed the email and password facility to mods. So if you change your email, change it fast!

There seems to be a general problem of peole being signed out. Now in the olden days if they forgot their passwords or still couldn't get in, we mods would change it. But Proboards have removed that facility. Members can only see their own. Therefore I was unable to change his password to get him in, since he's forgotten it and didn't change his email address to the new one.

No. He's going to try and get it sorted but if he can't I'll just move his details over, even though technically he didn't make thousands of posts. The other him did. LOL!

LOL! I think one of me is more than enough for you all to contend with haha!
Thanks Pat for sorting it all out!
So did anyone else managed to see the stage show? Hopefully it will tour and everyone will get the chance to see it.

It's going to the West End but no mention of any tour. I wouldn't mind seeing this actually. It sounds so much fun. Maybe they'll release a DVD.

Went to see Corrie! last night at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley, and it was great!
A very small, but massively talented cast of just 6 actors took on all the roles, and it was narrated from the sidelines by Ken Morley.
Some excellent stuff, Corrie gold if you were a fan, but two of the people I went with weren't really big fans, so I don't think they got the full benefit.
It started and ended with Blanche arguing with Saint Peter(Morley) about getting past the Pearly Gates, showing scenes from her street as the main show.
Gail Potter/Tilsley/Platt/Hillman/McIntyre was hilarious with all her various husbands 'I've got a really good feeling about this one...!' and the hands on hips, head nodding with every word she spoke.
Loved the Blackpool tram scene!
I never saw a Rita and Mavis scene, but there was a very quick scene with Fred and Ashley, which was great.
Most of the performances were spot on - except Mike Baldwin, I didn't rate that one much, but the bloke playing Ken got him spot on, all wheedling and patronising one minute, then exploding with indignant rage the next.
All in all a good night out, but the theatre in Bromley was half empty, which was a shame, so the atmosphere was a bit weak, but that wasn't the actors' fault.

Im glad you enjoyed it Pearly. I enjoyed it in Manchester but didnt bother seeing it again in Cardiff yesterday. I was tempted and went to find out about any seats left but didnt really want to spend any more money!
Apparently this was slightly different so perhaps thats why no Mavis and Reet scene.
