From DS
Ben Price has signed a new deal to stay at Coronation Street for another year.
Price, who plays Nick Tilsley in the ITV1 soap, will now be on the show until at least Autumn 2012 after previously having his original contract extended, The People reports.
A source said: "He fitted in really well. His first contract was extended until next autumn and now everyone is chuffed he has signed a further one-year deal."
Price recently said: "I might be here 20 years, which would be absolutely great."
The actor has previously starred in Footballers' Wives and Casualty.
This is not particular!ly good news for me.

mmm..I agree..I have said it before and I'll say it again..he looks too old to be Nick Tilsley who is supposed to be 30..Ben Price is pushing 40 (so he claims) and looks older that Chris Gascoyne (Peter Barlow) who is supposed to be 15 years older than Nick

LOL ...he's also picked up a slight west midlands accent somewhere along the way too (which isn't Nottingham, thats east midlands lol)
Which is odd because ben was born in Newcastle !!

LOL! Probably the same sort of thing as Carlton's Crossroads where hardly anyone had a Brummie accent.
