Bradley Walsh has revealed that he may reprise his role as Danny Baldwin on Coronation Street in the future.

Danny left Weatherfield under mysterious circumstances in 2006, after the actor decided to quit the serial. However, the 50-year-old admitted that he would now "love to go back".

Walsh told Holy Soap: "If the time was right for them and Danny Baldwin needs to go back, and the time is right for me where I've actually got some time to do it. Because you can't just go in and do one, two or three weeks - you have to really put your mind to it.

"The scripts come four months in advance, so the timing has to be absolutely right. It's a bit like the alignment of the moon and the stars to get it right."

He added: "So if that came about somewhere later down the line, I would love to go back, of course. It was a fantastic show and a great character."

I'd love to see Danny back, not sure how they could write him in though .

There`s no family or ties to Coronation Street.
The only thing that would tie him to Coronation Street would be connected with Underworld.
Then of course there is Leanne...wouldn`t that be something if he and Leanne started another affair!!

That would be a good storyline actually Sooty, as he sold Underworld to Paul Connor but it would be great if he didnt really and that means he'd return to try and claim a share back from Carla!
