Frankie brought him up - he can only see her as his mother/mother substitute. Jamie already beat up the bloke that Frankie had the fling with, so he is very protective of her - he won't see her as someone to have sex with. He's only had the one girlfriend and treats her well - he's definitely not like his dad in that way.

I dont think they should have an affair. Although it wouldnt be incest as they arent blood related she is like his mother so it would be a bit sick

I have to agree with most on this thread-I would hope they would not put Frankie and Jamie together. Jamie has always thought of Frankie as his mom, the one that raised him so it just would not be right.  |

Norris Cole, Pearly Queen and Jez, I can see all your points of view. I can understand where all three of you are coming from, Frankie and Jamie are like mother and son but Jez you have said it yourself Jamie and Frankie aren't blood related and I have seen sicker things on the screen than this would be, surely you must have as well. Look at Den Watts and Zoe Slater now that was stomach churning don't you think. I don't know how true this is but I read in a magazine that Jamie and Frankie might have an affair and I'm sure Debra Stephenson only meant this to be a joke that her character Frankie might set her sights on Fred Elliott or Roy Cropper. Don't you think Frankie having an affair with one of those two would be more off putting than if she had an affair with Jamie. No I dont because she isnt "related" to either of them. Its the same as Sarah and Martin, they arent blood related but I wouldnt like to see them have an affair either. |

Yes I do agree that i think at soem point Frankie will have an affair but most certaintly not with jamie! That is disusting! No offence they don;t have to be blood realted to be family! Yes, I do think thta Frankie will have an affair with someone like Nathan, or maybe even Steve. I si think a great storyline would be if Nick came back and she had an affair with him! Don't us think? Now, that would annoy Leanne to say the least!

Jez I agree. Martin and Sarah having an affair would be disgusting because he is actually old enough to be Sarah's dad and besides there has never being any signs of Martin and Sarah being fond of one another in that particular sense. True, but there is nothing wrong with a large age gap as long as both are over 16 years old. No Sarah and Martin have never been fond of each other like that as you righly say, but then neither have Frankie and Jamie. |

Hopefully it wont happen though, it wont be long until Frankie leaves. Yes its been reported in the papers and mags ever since Leanne and Danny began an affair so over a year ago now. And last Christmas/New Year the press said they would kiss on New Years Eve but it was nothing really.
Reading back through this thread, im glad Sarah and Martin never had an affair - that would be even sicker!
