Does anyone know if there is anything wrong with Beverley Callard..an illness or something..?? I only ask because I think it's very odd she wasn't featured in any of the 50th anniversary episodes and hasn't been mentioned since a week last monday when they said she was in Spain (again)

According to DS, she was on Lorraine and said : "I go back in the New Year to film my exit. I can't tell you what it is - I'm not allowed! It's really exciting."

The last we saw of Liz was the Children in Need skit.
I`d love to know what went on behind the scenes for Beverley to depart so suddenly. Maybe it had something to do with her getting married, and TPTB didn`t take kindly to her having time off.

Yeah that`s what I don`t understand. If Bev is on Loose Women, then she probably isn`t under contract with Corrie anymore. Maybe Bev wanted to do 'Loose Women', and TPTB frowned upon it as she was still under contract with CS. So maybe it was a mutual decision to end her contract with Corrie so she could do 'Loose Women'
I`m sure Bev said somewhere she would appear in Corrie for her exit storyline in January. But now it`s nearly February, and still no sign of her. I haven`t read any spoilers for the next few weeks to see if she`s appearing in Corrie at all.

I think she is only occasionally on LW i.e. isnt one of the main panelists like Kate Thornton, Andrew, Sherrie Hewson, Denise, Carol etc.
I hope she returns to Corrie for an exit storyline. It would be poor if she need got seen again.
