I am a bit puzzled
I recently bought the 1970's box set and have just finished 1970....in the episode dated 22 July 1970 Elsie marries Alan Howard...but in the episodes after featuring Joe Donnelli confessing he murdered Steve Tanner and the siege, people are still calling Elsie Mrs Tanner and she is billed as Elsie Tanner on the credits ...very odd

So they were making rampant mistakes back then too.

LOL! Meg was always Mortimer after marrying Malcolm Ryder but at least they changed Elsie in the end.

I still haven't watched the 60s one. LOL! Yes she did and became Mortimer. I think I was more upset at Meg leaving Crossroads than Elsie leaving Corrie. AND Meg went out in style, not the back of a taxi. LOL! Bands playing, streamers, sailing. Booked Ventura yet? LOL! Patsy

Colin Baker and Nicola Bryant are on Twitter. Colin recently joined. Facebook's more private though. You only get who you want as your friend. I had a 3 way conversation last week with 2 of mine in America. LOL! One I've met, the other's coming on Oriana with me but others have met him and say he's okay. Meeting a German in June when she's over here and a bloke working for KLM on the 1st when I'm in Amsterdam. Gained a couple of Steve Read's friends after he died. Hoping to meet another German next year if I get to Hamburg. He's absolutely hilarious! I have two crew from Constellation. One was a friend before and I met him onboard in October. The other's the head barman in the Martini Bar. Some of my friends add anyone and have over 1000 but I don't. Mutuals or same interest. I ignore requests from people with no connection. Patsy

I have just watched the opening of the Capricorn club (November 1972).......Jill Summers (later Phyliss Pearce) was Bessie Proctor the cleaner (you would have thought when Jill joined the series full time as Phyliss they would have use the character name of Bessie like they did when Rita came back in 1972)..and Rita had a fight with a drunken woman played by Meg Johnson who came back as Eunice Nuttall and now plays Pearl in Emmerdale.
it's amazing who you see in the old episodes lol

I`m really not keen on Pearl in Emmerdale. And I liked her even less as Eunice Gee in Corrie. It was one of the very few times I felt sorry for Fred when he married Eunice.

Incidentally, Tanya in EE was listed as Branning tonight even though she married Greg. So there's a lot of it going on. LOL!
